In 1960s a primary school was started in a rented building on self-support basis. In 1973, it was nationalized that is still working under the name of Govt. Islah Model Primary School. Later on, in 1998, a new school was established with the financial assistance of Punjab Education Foundation. Quality education is being imparted here due to expert, experienced and dedicated teachers and educationist. The school has won 1st and 2nd positions many times at District level in Primary and Middle standard exams. The opportunities of co-curricular and moral activities are checked out just for the mental and physical growth of the young scholars. Not only the grant of fee concession but other educational facilities are also provided to the deserving learners. That’s why the number of the students is growing with every passing year. High section of the school has also been started this year. (2008)
